‘Everyone’s a Filmmaker’- British Film Institute workshop

At the start of May we partnered with the British Film Institute for our ‘Everyone’s a Filmmaker’ workshop to support the launch of Replay in Libraries across the country. We explored the films in the archive around Protest through the Power to the People Collection. We had discussions exploring ideas such as authenticity in films, being a fly on the wall and how modern technology and social media impacts the use of film for protest. We then started to create artwork inspired by the collection and ideas discussed. We look forward to creating a short film inspired by our artwork.
