Carlisle Co-research Collective Update!

We are part of a Youth Co-research Collective in Cumbria. Alongside Carlisle Youth Zone and the University of Cumbria, BBF has been enlisted to support a new group in Cumbria to Get Co-Research Ready. We are coming together as young people (12 – 17yrs), peer youth leaders (18 – 21yrs), established Youth Co-researchers and adults in Youth Worker and Academic roles.

Recently Lauren (co-production coordinator) and Emma (CEO) headed to Carlisle Youth Zone to continue the capacity building work. Lauren has developed a Get Research Ready With Me programme of work to support young people who are new to research to get involved, which we tested with some new young people. Our collective is going to be working on a research project in Carlisle exploring young people’s agency and access within primary healthcare. We look forward to the continuation of the project!
