Blog 2 Cumbria Co-research Collective
Click below to read our 2nd Blog! We are part of a new Youth Co-research Collective in Cumbria. Alongside Carlisle Youth Zone and the University of Cumbria, BBF has been enlisted to support a group in Cumbria to Get Co-Research Ready. We are coming together as young people (12 – 17yrs), peer youth leaders (18 – 21yrs), established Youth Co-researchers and adults in Youth Worker and Academic roles.

In our first blog we introduced how this new project has come about and the journey we have started to get ‘research ready’; how we CONNECTED, ENGAGED and started to MOBILISE as a research collective. In our second blog, we are going to share some highlights and learning from our second Get Research Ready with Me (#GRRWM) workshop, which was on Saturday 22nd March 2025, and share the very exciting news of our first funded research engagement project!
